CITY OF NICE

The City of Nice, located on the French Riviera, is renowned for its stunning Mediterranean coastline, vibrant culture, and historical significance. As a key urban center, Nice is committed to sustainable urban development, enhancing the quality of life for its residents, and promoting cultural and economic growth. On June 3, 2022, SEMIDE and the City of Nice signed a partnership to collaborate on urban agriculture. This includes a study under the EdiCitNet project, creating comparative sheets on urban agriculture in Nice, and developing projects to address climate change. SEMIDE will also promote Nice's activities in water and agriculture through various platforms. Recently, Nice has focused on urban agriculture initiatives and climate change projects, using data from shared gardens and an online multilingual tool to enhance urban farming strategies.
