Eric
MINO
Eric MINO has been the Manager of the SEMIDE Technical Unit since its launch in October 1999. Since April 2021, he is also head of the service Europe, Mediterranean, Central Asia and China with the International Office for Water (OiEau).
Eric MINO is an engineer in Electronic and Computer Science with a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from Paris XI, he has extensive expertise on water resources management, water information systems and has been working with EU institutions since the 80s, pioneering ICT for urban areas, environmental protection, and innovative public-sector solutions. Maroua
OUESLATI
Maroua has been working as an information and project manager at the SEMIDE Technical Unit since 2015. She is an engineer in natural resources management and holds a Master of Science from CIHEAM-IAMM in Agricultural Management and Territories. Before joining SEMIDE, she worked at the UfM Secretariat in the Water and Environment Division.
She has expertise in virtual water, food security, urban agriculture, and water management, gained through participation in over 10 European-funded water projects. Maroua also represents SEMIDE at international events, such as the UfM Water Expert Group and the Mediterranean Water Forum.
Najla
KAMERGI
Najla KAMERGI is an agronomist with a PhD in agricultural economics. Before joining the UT SEMIDE as a European project manager, she was a lecturer at the Institut Agro Dijon. Her PhD research examines cross-country variations, determinants, and trade impacts of agri-environmental regulations, using methods like Data Envelopment Analysis and Social network analysis.
Najla is involved in several Horizon projects related to NbS and circular economy, to study the impact of policy and regulatory frameworks on the implementation of innovative solutions Her work focuses also on investigating and analysing innovative funding and financing schemes to support sustainable innovations.
Roman
GRAS
Roman Gras graduated in 2015 with a master’s degree in finance and strategy from Sciences Po Paris, specializing in International Project Finance. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from McGill University in Canada, earned in 2010, with a major in finance and a minor in international development.
Roman gained experience as a Financial Manager for an NGO in India in 2011 and as an Investment Officer within ENGIE’s social renewable energy fund, conducting due diligence missions across India, Europe, and Africa. He also worked in financial auditing and management for firms, including one in southern France.
Elrik
DU SAILLANT DU LUC
Elrik Du Saillant Du Luc is an ecologist specializing in biodiversity management with a master's degree in biodiversity science and ecology. Before joining UT SEMIDE as a European environmental project manager, he was an environmental manager within the FDC68 in Alsace. His experiences include studying genetics on black bears in the United States and leopards in Sri Lanka, as well as contributing to renaturation projects and urban greening. Passionate about large carnivores, he has joined national steering committees.
At UT SEMIDE, he focuses on nature-based solutions, scientific monitoring, and water potabilization projects.
Morine
SERAFINI
Morine Serafini is a Junior European Project Manager at SEMIDE, working on the OurMED, AGREEMed, and CARDIMED projects while contributing to SEMIDE’s communication. She holds a Master’s in International Relations, specializing in Geopolitics of Environmental Issues and Ecological Transition, from Université Catholique de Lille, and a Bachelor’s in Applied Foreign Languages focused on English and Spanish communication.
She has experience in European affairs, regional representation and geopolitical research and analysis, as well as project management, notably in the field of the fight against illicit trafficking of cultural goods.
Luna
GAZIELLO
Luna Gaziello has been an apprentice at SEMIDE since August 2024 as a Junior Digital Communication Officer. Currently pursuing a Master's in Digital Strategy with a focus on Art Direction and Design, Luna manages project websites, social media, and creates communication materials to support SEMIDE’s visibility.
She has contributed to major European projects like OurMED, AgreeMED, SAFERS, and CARDIMED. Her efforts play a key role in disseminating SEMIDE's activities and innovations in the water sector, ensuring effective communication and engagement with stakeholders across Europe.
