Climate Chance Europe Africa 2025 Summit: “Adaptation: taking action”, is a 2-day event taking place on 31 March - 1 April, 2025 in Marseille.
This event is co-organised by Climate Chance, an international association working on mobilising and bringing together local actors to strengthen climate action, and the City of Marseille.
The summit will provide a unique opportunity to discuss tackling the climate challenges specific to the Mediterranean basin, sharing solutions adapted to the European and African contexts, and facilitating dialogue and cooperation. It is expected to bring together 2,000 institutional, local governance, business, and scientific stakeholders, for 40 sessions involving 300 speakers.
Climate Chance 2025 Summit has outlined 4 objectives:
- Help strengthen adaptation policies in France and the European Union.
- Strengthen dialogue and cooperation between non-state actors involved in adaptation issues.
- Strengthen dialogue between Europe and Africa.
- Mobilise civil society in Marseille and the surrounding area.
