The 7th European Climate Change Adaptation Conference (ECCA 2025), titled “Smarter, Faster and More Systemic Adaptation,” will be held on 16-18 June 2025 at the Palacongressi - IEG EXPO in Rimini, Italy.
This event is organized by the Horizon Europe-funded MAGICA Climate project and it will convene multi-sectoral stakeholders to showcase innovations and exchange good practices in science and policy fields for a climate-resilient society.
The ECCA Committee has also opened a call for sessions on the following themes:
- Living with climate extremes
- Managing cities to be fit for the future
- Protecting coastal and mountain areas
- Human and legal dimensions of change
- Adaptation finance: reducing communities’ economic or social vulnerabilities
Proposal criteria include:
- 90-minute content length
- Interactive format
- Session type: scientific focus or policy/solution focus
