The Institut Méditerranéen de l'Eau will hold its first thematic webinar of 2025 on the theme "Dams in the Mediterranean: Next Prospectives".
In the context of climate change impact in the region, this webinar will review of experiences and planning from several Mediterranean countries for sustainable dam projects, highlighting the need for a social, technical and economic-inclusive approach. Emphasis will also be put on Integrated Water Management (IWRM) and Non-conventional Water Use as key aspects in the design of new dams.
The webinar will take place online on 15 January 2025 from 16:30 to 18:15 CET
