In December 2024, the Office Français de la Biodiversité (OFB) highlighted exemplary agroecological practices through the publication of feedback sheets from Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. These sheets present the work of 16 farms, selected to illustrate the diversity of economic models and approaches to production and biodiversity preservation.
From March to September 2024, each of these farms was visited in depth by the OFB. Farmers shared their concrete approaches to strengthening the resilience of their production systems, while promoting biodiversity and preserving natural resources. As well as highlighting the essential role played by these pioneers, this compendium is a source of inspiration for the entire agricultural sector, offering strong arguments in favor of nature-based solutions and the agroecological transition.
Led by the OFB as part of the LIFE ARTISAN project, this work complements the inventory of agroecological practices carried out by various agricultural structures (Civam, Osaé, etc.). It was drawn up in partnership with the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Regional Chamber of Agriculture. Thanks to these factsheets, a new link is being forged between players in the world of agriculture, biodiversity and climate, contributing to the development of sustainable agriculture.
